AMI + ROHAN. WEDDING VIDEO IN VILLA CASTELLETTI, FLORENCE
Ami and Rohan are an Indian couple who have chosen Villa Castelletti, in Florence, to celebrate their wedding.
It should have been one of the first wedding of the season, but due to an unexpected lockdown the couple had to cancel the marriage just a week before the date. What a shock for them! But they never gave up and together with Debora and Simonetta of Italian Event Planners Italy, they rescheduled the event in October. It became the last wedding of the year, a long time coming but it was worth the wait for this spectacular day.
Us and photographer Laura Barbera we spent two days with them at Villa Castelletti. The first day was held the Baraat, a typical Indian procession with drums, and the Hindu ceremony. In the evening the bride, a professional Bollywood dancer, dedicated to her husband a coreography with her siblings and relatives.
The second day was held the civil ceremony by the lake, such an scenic venue. The bride was made up by Karina Franco. The place of the ceremony had a beautiful floral arrangement by I Fiori di Nadia while Beatrice Bianchi played the violin. The graphics were by Vanessa Chioccini Designer.
The day ended in the main hall of the villa, characterized by a platform in the middle of the tables where the cake was cut after the dinner.
The lights and music were handled by Matthew Dj and the Central House team, while Stefano Gori played the sax during the party.
What a spectacular way to end the season!
