WEDDING TRAILER BORGO STOMENNANO
SIENA / TUSCANY
LUCY + ANTON
What a place Borgo Stomennano! The tiny village was built on ancient Etruscan and Roman ruins that are visible to this day. For a videographer, this place offers extraordinary views, and the close proximity of Monteriggioni makes it a unique location. One of the infinite gems of Tuscany, the region where we live and love to film wedding videos.
When Daniela of The Tuscan Wedding told us the couple had chosen us to film their wedding, we were over the moon!
GETTING READY
What about the couple, they were stunning! Sue Brophy made such an incredible make-up for Lucy. A beautiful bride with stunning eyes. What an emotion for her to get ready with her bridesmaids inside the ancient rooms of Borgo Stomennano.
The groom, on his part, didn’t do too bad either, preparing in the grand billiard room, another of the magnificent rooms of the Sienese estate.
Us and Adriano & Elisa of Pure White Photography couldn’t just stop capturing every details made by Flowers Living and Wedding Music and Lights.
CEREMONY
The ceremony was incredible, filled with words of love and songs. A dear friend of theirs officiated, and he did an excellent job, while other family members of the couple sang live songs. It was inevitable to use the original songs of this small family band as the soundtrack for the video. The ceremony location could only be the garden, with the stunning view of the facade of Borgo Stomennano.
DINNER
After a relaxing aperitif held in the gardens of Borgo Stomennano, with photos with friends and fun moments, it was time for dinner. What can I say, Daniela and her team’s work was incredible, a long imperial table in the cool shade of the trees at the back of the borgo, elegant and refined, perfect for sharing such an important moment. The couple arrived, preceded by the lively entrance of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and soon the emotional speeches began. After a delicious dinner in the cool of the Tuscan summer, provided by Galateo Ricevimenti, the evening continued with the party.
PARTY
This was one of the most fun moments. Not only live music by the pool, but also a wild first dance that involved all the guests. A truly enjoyable moment, typically Irish, that brightened up the evening. It then continued inside the villa with a DJ set perfectly arranged by Matthew Dj, who got everyone dancing, helped by the open bar available to the guests.
A truly exhilarating day, a pleasure for a videographer to capture, and we hope that the video of this wedding does justice to the event it was.
